This is a really pretty vintage 1973 ad for Heaven Sent fragrance by Helena Rubenstein. Heaven Sent was one of those seemingly ubiquitous scents in the 1970s. I remember it being a very flowery, feminine perfume and instantly recognizable to the nose. I love the pink cloche hat and floral shirt on the lovely Boho… Read more »

Vivara Perfume Designed by Emilio Pucci, 1973
Wait, WHAT? Emilio Pucci has a perfume line and this is the first I’ve heard of it? This 1973 black and white ad for Vivara perfume is rather un-Pucci-esque. The 1928 Jewelry Company in 1974
The 1928 Jewelry Co. was founded by Melvyn Bernie in 1968, and is now one of the largest and last-standing jewelry manufacturers in the U.S. They specialize in making antique reproductions, handmade in the European tradition. I really love this black and white ad from 1974. It evokes a Victorian/Edwardian vibe, along with 1970s Boho… Read more »
