Today, July 4th, is a day of great celebration for America. It commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain. So while I do find the the interminable loud fireworks a bit annoying, it is what our founding fathers had in mind to celebrate this day.
I am flying my American flag out today alongside my blooming hydrangea.
