Three Vintage Mod 60s Fluffy Mohair Shawl Knitting Patterns

For your knitting pleasure, here are three fab vintage 1966 shawl patterns!  I love the beautiful mod models, and the shawls are absolutely stunning. Knitted in fluffy mohair, style #3193-135 has a groovy swirly circular motif that is very striking.  Style #3194-135 looks very chic pinned with a giant jeweled brooch.  There is also style… Read more »

Vintage 1950 Pretty “Tulip Time” Sweater Knitting Pattern

Here’s a great vintage 1950 knitting pattern from Fleisher’s Yarns: “Tulip Time” sweater.  The tulips look a little abstract to me, but they’re pretty cool.  I like how they are set off individual harlequin medallions.  All in all, a unique vintage design. Sweet Vintage 40s Bolero Knitting Pattern

I love it when I come across variations of vintage knitting patterns; this beauty is another sweet version of Kate’s royal reception angora bolero sweater.  Named the Dolman Bolero, it is from the 1940s.  Just adorable and oh-so stylish!  I think it would look fabulous knitted in fluffy angora, and I love the big button… Read more »
